Quality Control

To maintain Sungear’s high standard of quality, our products undergo strict quality inspection during the manufacturing process, and prior to final shipment to customers. All of our products are rigorously tested and inspected to the customers’ exact specifications. In addition, many of our products undergo extensive nondestructive testing. In house testing performed throughout the quality control process include nital etching, magna flux inspection, dimensional inspection using a state-of-the art gear inspection system, and charting.

With our focus on quality, we are Source Delegated for many of our customers, meaning that our products are not inspected by customers prior to use. This is a significant cost savings for the customer, and it demonstrates the trust that companies have in the quality of Sungear’s products. In addition, we are NSF AS9100 certified, and able to manufacture and inspect gears up to the American Gear Manufacturers Association’s (“AGMA”) class 15 specifications (the highest AGMA classification). We maintain excellent performance ratings from our customers, with nearly 100% on-time delivery. Our care and commitment to quality ensures that each order is in full compliance with the customer’s product specifications and print requirements, every time.
